Introduction
Our client is a practice looking to hire a part-time Associate Veterinarian. Caring for cats and dogs, this is an excellent opportunity to join a companion animal practice focused on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine within a supportive and patient-centered environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care across a varied companion animal caseload. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client education while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Specific working hours will be determined, with the added benefit of weekends being completely free as the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care while building strong relationships with clients and patients.

Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The hospital provides the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, allowing clinicians to manage a varied and rewarding companion animal caseload. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Digital Radiography, Digital Dental Radiography, and Ultrasound, providing the technology needed to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Additional facilities include an In-House Pharmacy to support efficient patient care and treatment. The practice is committed to Fear Free-focused patient care, creating a low-stress environment that prioritises the comfort and well-being of both patients and their owners.

Team
You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs within a supportive clinical environment. This is not a high-volume, high-pressure practice, and doctors are supported by an experienced team that allows them to focus on patient care, client communication, and medical decision-making. Together, the team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while fostering a collaborative and positive workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
