Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established veterinary practice in Rocky Point, North Carolina. The hospital provides veterinary care for small animal and mixed animal patients, delivering personalized care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative clinic environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a welcoming setting where clinicians can grow professionally while practicing high-quality medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients while maintaining strong relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate service. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing dental care. The role also involves wellness and preventative medicine while working closely with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available for those early in their careers.

The hospital is a full-service mixed animal veterinary hospital that has been family owned and operated since 2006. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining a warm and personal environment for clients and their pets. Services include medical, dental, and surgical care, supported by modern veterinary equipment and technology and a well-trained support staff. The practice values collaboration, respect, and maintaining strong relationships with both patients and the local community.

Team
The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive workplace where veterinarians and staff work together to provide excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
