Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring a Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals. The hospital is AAHA accredited and offers a wide range of services, including wellness, surgery, intensive care, senior pet care, imaging, dentistry, puppy and kitten care, pain management, internal medicine, and integrative and rehabilitation practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The role is offered on a full-time basis with flexibility in scheduling for part time hours. There are no on-call duties or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental services to a variety of patients. Duties include wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, pain management, and advanced imaging. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support and mentorship available.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully AAHA accredited and follows a low-stress or Fear Free approach to patient care. Facilities include advanced diagnostic imaging and intensive care resources. Services provided cover wellness, surgery, dentistry, imaging, internal medicine, pain management, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, and rehabilitation.

Team
The practice has a team of six DVMs supported by a highly trained staff with a 3-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with experienced support staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
