Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This practice provides comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs while also offering veterinary-supervised boarding, daycare, grooming, and bathing services seven days a week. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care and committed to building strong relationships with both pets and their families.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. This role offers a flexible schedule within those hours, providing the opportunity to work in a supportive environment alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care including physical examinations, diagnostic workups, medical treatments, surgeries, and dentistry. Building rapport with clients is a key aspect of this role, with an emphasis on educating owners about preventative healthcare, including vaccinations and nutrition. The veterinarian will also maintain accurate patient records, support the development of the paraprofessional team, and remain current on veterinary medicine through continuing education. This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Practice Details
This modern hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, operating room, ultrasound room, digital x-ray suite, thermal imaging, and a dental suite with digital dental radiography. Advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment supports surgical procedures, and board-certified surgeons are available for specialty surgeries. Post-operative convalescent care is provided for all surgery patients, whether performed in-house or externally. The practice prides itself on delivering comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of each pet.

Team
The practice currently has one veterinarian and is seeking a second to join their brilliant and supportive team. The environment is collaborative, with an emphasis on providing the highest standard of care while treating every client like family and each patient as their own.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
