Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a veterinarian to join their well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The clinic primarily cares for dogs and cats, with occasional pocket pets, and has built a strong reputation for providing walk-in care for cases that general practices are unable to see.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no on-call or weekend responsibilities, and the role is offered on a full-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing care across a wide range of clinical areas, including emergencies, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, orthopedics, wellness services, diagnostics, pain management, and walk-in appointments. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, with structured mentorship available for new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory offering bloodwork, urinalysis, and cytology, along with ultrasound, digital radiographs, and laser therapy. Facilities support services such as dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, microchipping, pain management, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, and wellness packages. Surgical capabilities include soft tissue, orthopedic, dental, and emergency procedures. The culture is supportive, experienced, and designed to help clinicians succeed.

Team
The practice is staffed by two DVMs and supported by six certified veterinary technicians and six to eight assistants. The environment is collaborative, highly skilled, and focused on strong mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
