Our client is a progressive animal hospital in Rock Hill, South Carolina, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This full-service practice provides care to dogs and cats and is committed to delivering high-quality medicine in a warm, collaborative environment. The hospital is continuing to expand its services, facilities, and equipment, making this an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian eager to grow with a supportive, team-oriented practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm. This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on the doctor’s preference. There are no on-call duties or after-hours requirements, providing a predictable schedule and an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of medical, surgical, and dental care to small animals, including comprehensive wellness services, diagnostics, surgery, senior pet care, and pain management. Daily responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, interpreting diagnostics, and communicating clearly and compassionately with clients. The role is suited to an experienced doctor who is looking to thrive in a new setting.

Services include preventive medicine, surgical procedures, dental care, diagnostics, senior pet care, pain management, and urgent care for pets requiring more immediate attention. The hospital is home to two dedicated DVMs and a highly skilled support team, maintaining an excellent staff-to-doctor ratio to ensure smooth workflow and strong support throughout the day. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
