Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. With locations in McConnells and Rock Hill, South Carolina, this full-service practice is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine while fostering a collaborative environment where veterinarians can continue to develop professionally.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, delivering wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and client education. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritional guidance, diagnostics using in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography, and ultrasound, as well as routine and advanced surgical procedures. The role includes dental care with professional cleanings and dental radiography, along with soft tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, and TPLO surgery. Veterinarians will work closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with an experienced support team to provide exceptional patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and advanced medical services for dogs and cats. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite screening and prevention, nutritional counselling, in-house laboratory testing, urinalysis, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental examinations, professional dental cleanings, dental radiography, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, TPLO procedures, and advanced surgical care. The practice is committed to combining modern veterinary medicine with a personalised approach while encouraging client education and long-term preventative healthcare. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
