Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team, working with dogs and cats. This growing practice has been serving the community since 1978 and offers a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including routine exams, diagnostics, internal medicine, and surgical procedures. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough medical work-ups, performing surgery, maintaining accurate medical records, and prescribing treatments in line with best practices. You will play an active role in client communication and education, ensuring strong relationships and continuity of care. Collaboration with the veterinary team and Hospital Manager is key, along with participating in case monitoring, hospital protocols, and team development initiatives. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a Fear Free certified practice with a strong reputation built over decades of service, supported by a loyal multi-generational client base. The hospital is well equipped with advanced technology including seven exam rooms, a dedicated dental suite, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, and an on-site pharmacy. Services offered include vaccinations and preventative care, routine exams, emergency care, dental care, dermatology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, advanced surgical procedures, radiography, ultrasound, cytology, bloodwork, urinalysis, ECG/EKG, and more. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice promotes a collaborative and efficient working environment supported by strong systems and workflow processes.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, working within a collaborative environment with a 3:1 staff to DVM ratio.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
