Introduction
Our client is a modern, full-service veterinary hospital in Rock Hill, South Carolina, providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. They are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a practice focused on high-quality medicine, compassionate care, mentorship, collaboration, and work-life balance. The hospital provides general practice care alongside a broad range of advanced services and offers a supportive environment where veterinarians can continue developing their clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care from diagnosis through treatment while building lasting relationships with clients and becoming a trusted partner in their pets’ lifelong health. They will clearly communicate diagnostic findings and treatment options, helping clients make informed decisions while delivering thorough and compassionate veterinary care. The role includes general practice medicine alongside opportunities to manage internal medicine, surgical, orthopedic, emergency, and urgent care cases, with additional exposure to acupuncture, laser therapy, hospice and euthanasia, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Veterinarians will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, with built-in collaboration time and opportunities to expand their surgical and diagnostic skills. There are no on-call shifts or late nights. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome.

Practice Details
The AAHA-accredited hospital was founded in 2021 and features a modern facility with five exam rooms, a private dental suite with digital dental radiography, and a state-of-the-art surgical suite with a surgical laser. Advanced technology and resources include surgical and therapy lasers, ultrasound and echocardiography, endoscopy, digital dental radiography, and state-of-the-art anesthesia. The hospital provides a full scope of general practice services, including comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, alongside orthopedic procedures, internal medicine, acupuncture, emergency and urgent care, laser therapy, hospice and euthanasia, ultrasound, and endoscopy. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, clear client communication, mentorship, collaboration, professional growth, work-life balance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, and the hospital is closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs and a great tenured support team, with a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio providing experienced assistance for patient care. The team is highly trained and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and professional growth. A robust mentorship model and built-in collaboration time provide opportunities for veterinarians to learn from colleagues and continue developing their skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
