Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides veterinary care for dogs and cats, offering a wide range of services including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable delivering wellness and sick appointments, as well as performing surgeries, diagnostics, and dental procedures. Responsibilities include preventative care, diagnosing common conditions such as vomiting, itching, lumps, and lameness, and supporting patients through both medical treatment and client communication. The role also involves promoting preventative healthcare such as vaccinations, parasite control, and routine testing.

The hospital has been serving the community since 1976 and is dedicated to providing compassionate, respectful care to patients. Services offered include wellness and sickness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, spay and neuter procedures, and blood, urine, and fecal testing. The practice emphasizes preventative care and early detection, alongside dental services ranging from routine cleanings to extractions. The clinic is supported by operational infrastructure, innovative technology, and advanced training, allowing veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality care while developing professionally.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
