Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative Fear Free environment. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about exceptional patient care and building lasting client relationships.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care through patient examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and client education while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures and surgery, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, monitoring hospitalized patients, participating in daily rounds, and ensuring hospital protocols are upheld from patient intake through discharge. The successful candidate will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director, contribute to practice management initiatives, promote teamwork and staff efficiency, and help maintain an exceptional client experience. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs while practising a Fear Free approach to patient care. Services include routine examinations, vaccinations and preventative care, parasite prevention, urgent care, dental care and dental surgery, cold laser therapy, geriatric care, puppy and kitten care, boarding, soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, C-sections, wound management, diagnostics, and pharmacy services. The hospital offers a varied general practice caseload in a collaborative environment focused on delivering compassionate care and excellent client service. Hospital hours are Monday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team. Veterinarians work closely with experienced technicians, support staff, the Hospital Manager, and the Regional Director in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, communication, and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
