Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care exclusively for dogs and cats. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. The ideal full-time schedule would include four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle full general practice responsibilities. The role is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and an in-house laboratory. Services offered include vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, surgery and dentistry, laser therapy, boarding and day care, and emergency care.
Team
The team includes two DVMs and a tenured support staff, working within a collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
