Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Riverbank, CA, seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This well-established full-service veterinary hospital has been providing exceptional care to pets and their families across the Central Valley since 1952. Known for its dedication to both modern and integrative veterinary medicine, the hospital offers a wide range of services to ensure pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility while maintaining the opportunity to work within a busy and supportive hospital environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Clinical responsibilities include preventive care and vaccinations, routine wellness exams, internal medicine, dental procedures, senior pet care, and acupuncture. The hospital also provides emergency care and specialized surgical services, including soft tissue procedures, reproductive care, and orthopedic surgeries such as ACL repairs. Working alongside a collaborative medical team, you will build lasting client relationships while ensuring pets receive the best possible treatment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, full-service facility offering a wide scope of veterinary services supported by advanced diagnostics. These include digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG/EKG, digital dental radiography, bloodwork, fecal exams, and surgical lasers. The in-house diagnostic lab enables timely and accurate assessments, while additional capabilities such as blood transfusions support comprehensive patient care. With a reputation for excellence and compassion, the hospital combines traditional and integrative medicine to deliver individualized care for every patient.

Team
The hospital is currently home to two DVMs and a skilled support staff who work collaboratively to provide exceptional veterinary care. The culture is supportive and team-focused, with an emphasis on delivering professional and compassionate service to both pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
