A veterinary practice in Ridgewood, NJ, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its cohesive, experienced team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for both current students and new graduates to practice advanced medicine in a supportive environment. The practice is committed to helping new veterinarians grow, offering a 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative team atmosphere. You’ll work in a full-service, AAHA-accredited facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including surgical and therapeutic lasers, ultrasound, endoscopy, and thermal imaging. The hospital integrates both traditional and alternative medicine, such as acupuncture and homeopathy, ensuring pets receive the best individualized care. The facility has pioneered procedures like Ultrasound Guided Endoscopic Diode Laser Ablation (UGELAB), and veterinarians are encouraged to develop new skills using the latest technology. The dedicated staff provides exceptional support, and the practice places a strong emphasis on client education, using advanced tools like the DIA Education Video system and Welch Allen video otoscopes. Extensive in-house training for non-veterinary staff ensures high standards across the team. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday, with no on-call hours. A typical schedule includes four days per week, with shifts every other Saturday.
