Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Ridgely, Maryland, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides full-service veterinary care to companion animals, including small animals and exotic pets, and is dedicated to offering high-quality medicine delivered with kindness and compassion. Founded in 1992, the hospital continues to focus on strengthening the human-animal bond while educating and involving clients in long-term health plans for their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. This schedule allows for excellent work-life balance with no weekend or after-hours requirements. The position can accommodate both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility to support individual preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will practice high-quality medicine with an emphasis on client-centered preventive care. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgical procedures as required. The role also involves collaborating closely with the partner doctor and leadership team to achieve the clinic’s goals, supporting local community engagement, and maintaining compliance with veterinary standards and regulations. The position is open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates, who will benefit from mentorship and a supportive environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with modern tools and resources, including an in-house laboratory, laser therapy, and full dental care capabilities. Services provided include wellness and preventive care, dental care, vaccinations, microchipping, and laser therapy, with a growing caseload of exotic pets alongside traditional small animal care. Team
The team currently includes three DVMs working alongside a skilled and dedicated support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
