Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs, cats, exotics, avians, and ruminants and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian with a strong holistic focus to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about integrative medicine and believes in treating the whole patient. This is an excellent opportunity to help grow a practice where conventional and complementary therapies work together to deliver exceptional patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive integrative and conventional veterinary care while combining holistic modalities with evidence-based medicine. Responsibilities include providing preventative and medical care, applying holistic treatment approaches alongside standard diagnostics and therapies, building strong relationships with clients seeking whole-patient care, collaborating with the wider veterinary team, and helping shape the continued growth of the practice’s integrative medicine services. Veterinarians with interests in acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition-based care, chiropractic care, rehabilitation, or other evidence-informed complementary therapies will find a supportive environment where these skills are valued. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This community-focused hospital provides veterinary care for dogs, cats, exotics, avians, and ruminants with an emphasis on compassionate, high-quality medicine and whole-patient care. Services include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, senior pet care, urgent care, reproductive services, in-home appointments, and telemedicine. The practice actively embraces an integrative approach, encouraging the combination of conventional medicine with holistic therapies to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The hospital is supported by a team of 9 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The collaborative environment encourages open communication, professional growth, and the continued development of integrative veterinary medicine while supporting veterinarians in delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
