Introduction
Our client is a well-established, small animal hospital that has been proudly serving the community since 2015. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice focuses on providing high-quality care to cats and dogs and offers a varied caseload within a modern and progressive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance. The team is open to discussing both full-time and part-time scheduling options, providing flexibility to suit your individual needs while ensuring continuity of patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will carry out all general practice responsibilities, including diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgery and dentistry, providing client education, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will manage cases ranging from routine wellness and preventative care to more advanced medical and surgical procedures. The practice welcomes both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, offering excellent mentorship and continuing education opportunities to support career development at any stage.

Practice Details
The hospital utilises modern technology, including digital radiology, to support thorough diagnostics and comprehensive patient care. The facility is designed to enable veterinarians to confidently manage cases from routine wellness and prevention through to more complex advanced care, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload. Services offered include wellness care, dentistry, senior pet care, diagnostics, internal medicine, pain management, behavioural consultations, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic procedures, and routine spay and neuter surgeries. The practice fosters a supportive and forward-thinking environment dedicated to clinical excellence.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of five DVMs supported by a fantastic and experienced group of technicians and support staff. The culture is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, professional growth, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
