Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This is an established hospital with decades of trusted service in the community, known for blending compassionate care with advanced medicine. The practice is looking for an experienced doctor to join its supportive and collaborative team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There is no overnight hospitalization or on-call requirement, ensuring work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will see small animal patients, providing wellness care, medical care, surgical care, and dental services. Responsibilities include diagnosing, performing surgery, treating patients, and maintaining strong client communication. Duties also involve reviewing medical records, estimates, and discharge instructions with clients, setting standards of care for medical and surgical areas, and collaborating with the practice manager on administrative responsibilities. Additional expectations include mentoring team members, supporting staff development, and contributing to practice growth. The role requires proficiency in a range of skills including diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide compassionate, thorough care. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital has five exam rooms and is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and a surgical laser. Services offered include wellness care, preventive medicine, urgent and comprehensive medical care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, reproductive surgery, abdominal and urogenital procedures, dental cleanings and extractions, and compassionate end-of-life support. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
