Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice provides veterinary care for cats, dogs, and large animals, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to join a collaborative mixed animal practice delivering high-quality patient care across a diverse caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, providing preventative, medical, and surgical care. You will perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, develop treatment plans, perform routine surgical procedures, and build lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and high-quality patient care. You will work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team to maintain exceptional clinical standards while contributing to a positive and supportive hospital environment. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice provides wellness visits, emergency services, dental care, both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, veterinary orthopedic manipulation, as well as boarding and grooming for small animals. Large animal services are all ambulatory and include herd health programs in addition to medical and surgical procedures, with the majority of the large animal work involving cattle. The practice is approximately 20% large animal and 80% companion animal. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, tonometer, laser, and gas anesthesia with monitors, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. The combined practice is housed in a spacious facility with electronic medical records. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a closure on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
You will be joining a team of 2 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. The hospital prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where teamwork and communication are central to daily operations. The team brings a diverse range of education, clinical experience, and professional backgrounds, creating a culture where knowledge sharing and collaboration are encouraged. Their collective passion and dedication to veterinary medicine create an energetic and supportive workplace focused on delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
