Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited hospital with over 50 years of service to its community, currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This is a small animal practice that cares for both canine and feline patients, offering a blend of general wellness, sick care, and surgical services in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is currently open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with plans to expand coverage to include Fridays and Saturdays as the team grows. This full-time position is ideally structured as a four-day workweek, including a required Friday shift once implemented. No evening or Sunday work is expected, offering a balanced schedule and strong work-life integration.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will see a mix of wellness and illness cases for dogs and cats, with time divided between appointments and surgery days. The role includes responsibilities in general medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery. This position is well-suited for either experienced veterinarians or new graduates, with structured mentorship available to support early-career professionals.

Practice Details
The facility is equipped with digital radiology, in-house CBC and chemistry analyzers, a therapy laser, ultrasound, and a spacious surgical suite. The hospital includes four exam rooms, an in-house pharmacy, an isolation ward, and a welcoming lobby area. The team follows Fear Free practices and utilizes hands-free radiology to ensure patient comfort and safety. A broad range of services is offered, including preventive care, geriatric medicine, dental care with digital dental radiography, general and orthopedic surgery, diagnostics, pain management, and wellness programs.

Team
The hospital is currently staffed by one full-time DVM and a supportive group of veterinary professionals. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
