Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides comprehensive veterinary services and is seeking a veterinarian to join their team to support their growing caseload and continued commitment to high-quality patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday–Friday from 8:00am – 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
An Associate Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. They conduct thorough examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The role also involves communicating clearly and compassionately with clients, collaborating with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care, and participating in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
Founded in the 1960s, the practice has grown from a small walk-in clinic into a newly remodeled, 7,200 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive medical care—including a pet hotel. For over 60 years, the hospital has served Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, and surrounding Southern California communities. The culture is built on a welcoming, supportive team deeply committed to compassionate care, high-quality medicine, and exceptional client communication. The hospital emphasizes collaboration among doctors, strong staff support, and individualized patient care, creating an environment where both pets and team members can thrive. The facility includes 9 exam rooms and a large, open treatment area, as well as separate surgical and dental suites with two dental wet tables. The practice uses cutting-edge equipment and modern technology, including a paperless Pulse PMS with tablets for patient care and technician charting, as well as AI-powered scribe note integration to streamline documentation. Services include general practice, urgent care, dentistry, limited exotics, wellness plans, dental care, diagnostics, surgery, and laser therapy. The hospital also provides access to a specialty surgeon for advanced and complex cases and holds a 4.8 rating from 966 pet parents.

Team
The hospital team includes 5 DVMs supported by 23 staff members, including 18 veterinary assistants, creating a collaborative environment with strong clinical and operational support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
