Job Description

Introduction
An AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Renton, Washington is seeking a part time Associate Veterinarian to join its established veterinary team. The practice has a long standing reputation within the community, with generations of families trusting the hospital for compassionate and high quality care for their dogs and cats. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to contribute to a respected practice while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends. This position is part time with a schedule of one day per week, offering flexibility while supporting continuity of care for patients and clients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry and surgical procedures. The role involves guiding patient care from consultation through treatment, maintaining accurate medical records, communicating clearly with clients and collaborating with the veterinary team to maintain high clinical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
