Introduction
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Reno, Nevada is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team. With eight veterinarians currently in practice, the hospital offers a collaborative environment where both experienced doctors and new graduates can thrive through strong mentorship, clinical support, and a genuine team-first culture. Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and medical case management. You’ll work closely with colleagues to deliver personalised treatment plans while educating clients and building long-term relationships based on trust and compassionate care. The practice follows a low-stress handling philosophy and Fear Free principles wherever possible, creating a positive experience for patients, clients, and the veterinary team alike. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or looking for structured mentorship as a new graduate, you’ll be supported in developing your skills and pursuing your professional interests.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
