Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, working with dogs and cats on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in an AAHA-accredited small animal practice that prioritizes patient care, collaboration, and professional growth.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and client education. The role focuses on building lasting client relationships, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, and ensuring clients are well-informed about their pet’s health. You will work closely with a supportive team to provide high standards of care while contributing to a collaborative and positive hospital culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice, reflecting a commitment to the highest standards in veterinary medicine, facility maintenance, and patient care protocols. It offers a full range of services including wellness and prevention, diagnostics, advanced care, and surgical procedures. The practice is equipped to support precise diagnostics and advanced treatment options, with access to internal specialty consultations and ongoing educational resources. The hospital operates Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The culture emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
