Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis, working with cats, dogs, and exotics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new hospital and play a key role in shaping its future while delivering high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care including diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative medicine across a diverse caseload. Responsibilities include wellness care, internal medicine, and supporting advanced diagnostics, while building strong client relationships and delivering clear communication around treatment plans. You will also contribute to mentoring, team development, and helping establish a positive culture and operational foundation within the hospital. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, ideally with leadership experience, who is motivated to help grow and guide a new practice.

Practice Details
This is a brand-new hospital opening in summer 2026, designed to support high-quality, efficient care. The facility will be fully equipped with in-house labs, ultrasound, digital radiographs, and dental radiographs, with exam rooms featuring integrated technology to enhance workflow and client experience. Services offered include vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick control, nutritional management, parasite prevention and treatment, and behavior consultations. The practice emphasizes flexibility, professional development, and the ability to pursue individual clinical interests within a supportive environment.

Team
The team currently consists of 1 DVM and a great tenured support team, with a focus on building a collaborative and supportive culture as the hospital grows.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
