Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Located near scenic Lake Guntersville, this respected small animal clinic has been serving the Rainbow City community for over 40 years and has built a strong reputation for high-quality medicine, preventative care, and compassionate service. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal cases while delivering high-quality medical care across wellness, preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include building long-term relationships with clients through communication, trust, and education, as well as contributing to a positive clinic culture and strong community reputation. Clinical services include emergency care, sick pet examinations, preventative care, dentistry, surgical procedures, dermatology, oncology, diabetes management, ophthalmology, cardiology, and nutritional counseling. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary facility dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care while supporting pet owners with compassion, understanding, and excellent customer service. The practice features advanced equipment including digital radiology, ultrasound, thermal imaging, endoscopy, rapid laboratory testing capabilities, and laser surgery. Fear Free protocols are established throughout the hospital, and Fear Free Certified Professionals are part of the team to help reduce stress and anxiety during patient visits. Services offered include emergency services, sick pet examinations, head-to-tail examinations, pharmacy services, intensive care and hospitalization, second opinions, euthanasia care, preventative care for puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, and senior pets, dentistry, microchip identification, nutritional counseling, behavior counseling, parasite prevention and treatment, surgical services including general surgery, dental surgery, orthopedic surgery, eye surgery, and cancer surgery, boarding, dermatology, oncology, diabetes management, ophthalmology, cardiology, and travel and health certificates. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and the practice is closed on weekends.

The hospital is staffed by 1 DVM and a great tenured support team. The environment is supportive and focused on delivering high-quality medicine while maintaining strong relationships with clients and the local community.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
