Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their busy and well-supported companion animal practice. Serving a loyal, multi-generational client base, the clinic is led by a dedicated managing DVM and values both high-quality care and a balanced lifestyle for its team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with an emphasis on maintaining work-life balance and encouraging team members to “unplug” after their shifts.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will be responsible for examining and treating companion animals, interpreting diagnostic results, advising clients on preventive care, performing surgeries, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing end-of-life care. The role is intended for an experienced veterinarian capable of contributing to a busy and cohesive team.

Practice Details
The practice offers a range of services including physical exams, surgery, dental care, dermatology, ultrasound, laser therapy, nutritional consultations, and behavioral consultations. Diagnostic and imaging support is available through partnerships with external specialists. The hospital maintains a focus on thorough, individualized care for each patient.

Team
The clinic is home to two DVMs supported by a capable and hardworking team. The work environment is collaborative and efficient, promoting a strong team culture where responsibilities are shared and a healthy work-life balance is prioritized.
