Introduction
A well-established small animal hospital in Provo, Utah is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its two-doctor team. With deep roots in the community and a loyal client base, this practice blends high-quality medicine with a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture. Located in a region known for its mountain landscapes and outdoor recreation, this opportunity offers the balance of meaningful clinical work during the week and restorative time outdoors on the weekends.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with hospital hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The clinic is currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays, providing a consistent weekday schedule and protected weekends to maintain strong work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. You will develop thorough diagnostic and treatment plans, perform surgical and dental procedures within your comfort level, and ensure accurate, detailed medical records. Building long-term client relationships is a key aspect of the role, with an emphasis on clear communication and education. Collaboration with an experienced support team allows for efficient workflows and high standards of patient care. Mentorship is available, making this a strong opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and those earlier in their careers who are eager to grow within a busy, dynamic practice.
Practice Details
The hospital features five exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and modern diagnostic capabilities including digital radiography with dental imaging, ultrasound, laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory. In addition to core veterinary services, the facility also offers grooming, daycare, and boarding amenities, creating a comprehensive care environment for clients and their pets. The practice maintains a steady caseload supported by a long-standing reputation within the community.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
