Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a small animal clinic that cares for cats and dogs, and the position has opened to support their ongoing medical and surgical services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The schedule can be arranged on a full-time or part-time basis, and doctor hours are open to discussion depending on the needs of the successful candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide the full scope of general practice care, delivering a wide range of clinical services including wellness, diagnostics, medical management, surgery, and dentistry. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, giving flexibility for someone looking to grow or further develop their clinical skill set.

Practice Details
The quality of medicine offered at their facility is extensive and modern. The hospital provides a full scope of small animal services, offering a true one-stop location for clients. Daily work will range from wellness and preventive care to complex surgical procedures, advanced diagnostic testing, and critical emergency care cases. Orthopedic surgery is also part of the service offering.

Team
The hospital is supported by six dedicated veterinarians and a team of supporting teammates who believe that comprehensive, compassionate care is the only care worth giving.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
