Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their team caring for cats and dogs. As a Lead Veterinarian, you’ll play a key part in shaping clinic culture, mentoring newer doctors, and helping drive medical excellence, all while enjoying strong support from their experienced team and the hospital’s proven infrastructure. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role consisting of four weekday shifts with rotating weekends. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will provide full general practice care, including surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and wellness, while taking on leadership responsibilities within the hospital. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

This is a well-equipped, full-service general practice hospital for cats and dogs.

Team
The hospital currently has two DVMs supported by a great team of support staff in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
