An Associate Veterinarian is invited to join a well-established, two-doctor small animal hospital in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. There are no weekend or evening requirements, ensuring an excellent work-life balance. Flexible opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload of canine and feline patients, with the option to expand services into exotics for those with interest. Responsibilities include providing preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Candidates with experience or interest in orthopedics or ultrasound will be especially valued, though all special interests are supported.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with two surgery suites, an oxygen cage, separate dental area with two dental tables and digital dental x-ray, digital radiography, ultrasound, three anesthesia machines, pulse oximetry, bear huggers, IDEXX in-house laboratory, electrocautery, and both cold and therapeutic lasers. The team is committed to investing in new technologies and supporting veterinarians in pursuing their areas of interest.

Team
The incoming veterinarian will join two full-time doctors and a supportive team that maintains at least a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. The culture is welcoming and collaborative, with a focus on quality medicine and strong client relationships. Mentorship is available for recent graduates, while experienced doctors will find opportunities to bring their skills and special interests to the practice.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
