Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Powder Springs, Georgia, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With over 40 years of service to the community, the hospital provides comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with no Sunday hours. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, and scheduling can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services, including preventive medicine, wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation therapy, and geriatric care. This role is ideal for a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with skilled support staff. Candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

The hospital is well-equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical tools, including digital radiology (with dental capabilities), ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, a fully equipped surgical suite, multiparameter monitoring systems, and a full-service on-site pharmacy. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
