Job Description
Introduction
This full-service small animal hospital in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its welcoming and collaborative team. Offering both full-time and part-time opportunities, the practice provides a broad mix of general practice, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care cases in a well-equipped environment. Known for its loyal client base and positive team culture, the hospital combines high-quality medicine with a genuine family atmosphere where both patients and colleagues are valued. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, with no weekend hours.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, including preventative medicine, wellness examinations, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, geriatric medicine, and end-of-life care. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and support staff while building long-term relationships with clients through clear communication and personalised treatment plans. Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling is available to support a healthy work-life balance.
Practice Details
This modern veterinary hospital is equipped with an in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, tonopen, electrocautery, and additional diagnostic equipment to support high-quality patient care. The practice provides comprehensive services for companion animals, allowing veterinarians to work with a varied caseload while utilising advanced technology throughout their daily practice.
Team
You’ll join a supportive team of experienced veterinarians working alongside skilled technicians, veterinary assistants, and reception staff in a collaborative and enjoyable environment. The hospital is known for its strong sense of teamwork, long-standing client relationships, and positive culture where laughter and mutual support are part of everyday practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
