Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their general practice and small animal clinic, which also sees some exotics and mixed animal cases.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and it is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry while supporting wellness care, urgent care, and preventative services. This role is open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates seeking mentorship.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Ohio State University equipment, in-house diagnostics and laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, glaucoma screening, endoscopy, and laser and PRP therapy treatments. The facility includes three buildings that house hospital services, boarding and grooming, dog training, and on-site cremation services. Services provided include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, grooming, exotics care, urgent care, large animal services, pet cremation, laser therapy, dog training, house calls, and ultrasounds.
Team
The hospital has a team of five DVMs supported by two dedicated RVTs and additional support staff, creating a collaborative environment with excellent mentorship opportunities for growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
