Our client is a hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a primary care team within an emergency and specialty practice providing care to cats and dogs. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality wellness and preventative care while working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on primary care medicine, including providing wellness exams, preventative care, and general medical services while building strong relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with emergency and specialty teams to ensure seamless, integrated patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with an emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous professional growth.
Practice Details
Our client is an emergency and specialty hospital offering comprehensive care supported by advanced diagnostics and specialty services. The practice provides access to a wide range of specialties including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, regenerative medicine, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and surgery. Emergency services are available 24/7/365, with surgical and specialty appointment hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. The hospital is preparing to transition into a new 42,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance patient care and clinical capabilities. The culture emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and continuous learning within a progressive environment.
Team
The team consists of 32 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative and mentorship-focused, with strong integration between primary care, emergency, and specialty services.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
