Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team in Port St. Lucie. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital combines comprehensive everyday veterinary medicine with 24/7 emergency and critical care support. The opportunity is open to both recent DVM graduates and experienced veterinarians looking to build their careers within a busy, comprehensive veterinary environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases while providing wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and preventative services. You will utilize in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, and other advanced tools to support patient care. The role also involves building lasting relationships with clients and collaborating closely with the hospital’s experienced veterinarians and technicians. With both routine and emergency cases seen at the hospital, you will have the opportunity to provide ongoing care while also making an impact when patients require urgent medical attention. Both recent graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care alongside 24/7 emergency and critical care support for pets throughout Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, and surrounding communities. Regular opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with emergency services available 24/7. The hospital utilizes in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, cutting-edge technology, and advanced tools to support its varied caseload. Services include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, boarding, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, grooming, cold laser therapy, and emergency and critical care.

Team
The hospital has a team of 10 DVMs alongside a great tenured support team. Veterinarians work collaboratively with experienced technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive routine, emergency, and critical care for patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
