Introduction
A well-established, five-doctor small animal hospital in Port Hadlock, Washington is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. This modern, progressive practice offers a collaborative environment with a strong mentorship culture, making it well suited to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a focus on high-quality medicine and a Fear Free, patient-centered approach.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends, with part-time scheduling designed to offer flexibility while maintaining a consistent and supportive clinical workload.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive small animal care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, while delivering a high standard of patient care in a Fear Free environment, building strong client relationships, and collaborating closely with colleagues to support clinical excellence and team development.
Practice Details
This is a well-equipped, full-service small animal hospital offering digital radiography including dental imaging, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, and dedicated surgical and dental suites, alongside paperless records and an ongoing clinic expansion that reflects continued investment in facilities and patient care.
Team
You will be joining a team of five veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and support staff, within a collaborative and mentorship-driven culture that encourages shared learning, open communication, and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
