Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive small animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis. The clinic is dedicated to delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while fostering a compassionate and individualized approach to patient and client relationships.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role offers part-time flexibility, with scheduling designed to respect work-life balance and no on-call or late-night requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include examining and treating patients, performing surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also emphasizes strong client communication and education, supporting pet owners in making informed decisions about their pets’ care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is a full-service small animal hospital that has been providing veterinary care since 1968, offering a wide range of services including preventative care, diagnostic care, surgical care, dental services, microchipping, pain management, laser therapy, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, and pet acupuncture. The clinic emphasizes a balance between advanced medical care and a compassionate, personalized approach, supporting both patient wellbeing and strong client relationships.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
