Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate and Managing Veterinarian. The hospital provides care for small animals and welcomes DVMs of all experience levels, including new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with no after-hours requirements specified.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will perform comprehensive pet examinations, vaccinations and vaccine counseling, basic nutritional counseling, TonoPen eye pressure assessments, surgery, dentistry, radiology, microchipping, and wellness programs. Acupuncture and pharmacy services are also part of the clinical responsibilities. The role is open to both new graduates, who can access a tailored mentorship program, and experienced DVMs who will have the opportunity to practice autonomously within an established, well-organized team.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern radiology, in-house laboratory services, surgical and dental facilities, and a pharmacy. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, microchipping, acupuncture, and pharmacy services. The practice emphasizes client education, team collaboration, and a supportive, fun working environment.
Team
The team includes 3 DVMs and multiple certified veterinary technicians, along with additional support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, designed to empower doctors to practice their best medicine with the support of a skilled, confident team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
