Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established 3-doctor small animal general practice in downtown Pleasanton. They provide high-quality care for dogs and cats and have been serving their community for over 30 years.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no weekend or on-call requirements. The position is available as full time or part time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide a wide range of clinical services including wellness exams, sick visits, advanced care, dental services, surgical procedures, radiology, laboratory diagnostics, parasite prevention, acupuncture, integrative medicine, and pet grooming. The role also involves educating clients, delivering high-quality medicine, and contributing positively to a supportive and experienced team.

Practice Details
The practice offers comprehensive veterinary care and is equipped to provide diagnostic procedures, medical treatments, surgical services, dental care, therapeutic laser therapy, pain management, acupuncture, and integrative medicine. They emphasize preventive health care, high-quality medicine, and treating clients like family. The clinic environment is committed to work-life balance, excellence in medical care, and professional support for pet owners. Boarding services are also available.

Team
The hospital has three DVMs supported by an experienced and long-tenured support staff. The environment is described as collaborative, supportive, and committed to maintaining a positive workplace culture, with many staff members having been part of the team for several years.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
