Our client is a hospital that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs, this well-established practice has been serving the community for over 27 years. Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to perform the full scope of GP services within a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities will include preventative care, wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, medical case management, surgery, dentistry, and client communication while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking mentorship and professional development as well as those looking to continue advancing their clinical expertise.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, digital radiography (dental and regular), cold laser equipment, Tonopen, and an In-House Laboratory. Facilities include Hands-Free Radiology, an Isolation Ward, and an In-House Pharmacy. The practice is AAHA-accredited and is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible, reflecting its dedication to exceptional patient care. In addition to its core GP services, the hospital also provides cold laser therapy, climate-controlled pet boarding, and behavior counseling, allowing it to offer comprehensive support for patients and clients.
Team
You will join a team of 3 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Doctors, technicians, and client service professionals work seamlessly together to provide outstanding care, trusted communication, and the best possible outcomes for pets and their families.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
