A well-established mixed animal hospital in Pinetop–Lakeside, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative three-doctor team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, and weekend shifts are required on a rotational basis. Scheduling is designed to maintain strong work-life balance while ensuring consistent patient care and team collaboration.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive care across a diverse mixed animal caseload, including small animals, large animals, exotics, and occasional wildlife cases. Daily responsibilities include wellness exams, preventative care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care presentations, diagnostics, and client education. With an average daily patient volume of approximately 20 cases and a strong 5:2 support staff ratio, you will have the resources needed to practice efficiently and thoroughly.

Practice Details
This mixed animal practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, a fully outfitted surgical suite, and a dedicated dental suite. The hospital offers a broad case mix including wellness, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, alternative medicine, rehabilitation, advanced procedures, behavioral counseling, nutrition consulting, and in-house diagnostics and imaging. The culture is collaborative, high-touch, and teaching-focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering the highest level of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
