Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a animal hospital in Pinehurst, Idaho, hiring for a veterinarian to join their predominantly small animal practice, which also sees a modest percentage of large animal patients. The clinic is situated in the scenic panhandle of North Idaho, offering a blend of professional fulfillment and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers flexibility, accommodating both full-time and part-time applicants. The clinic operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities beyond scheduled shifts.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and professional development supported. A commitment to high-quality medicine and surgery is essential.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with in-house laboratory diagnostics, digital X-ray (stationary and portable), ultrasound, dental services including X-ray, and facilities for specialized soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Additionally, the clinic offers a boarding area for clients in need of reliable pet care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
