Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their mobile team providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care for cats and dogs. This four-doctor mobile practice focuses exclusively on compassionate end-of-life care, serving Baltimore, Frederick, Washington D.C., and surrounding areas. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian who values empathy, client connection, and providing peaceful care in the comfort of patients’ homes.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform peaceful in-home euthanasia services with professionalism, empathy, and compassion. Responsibilities also include conducting hospice and end-of-life consultations and supporting clients through the grieving process with warmth and understanding. The role is centered around providing compassionate, client-focused care while helping families navigate difficult moments with dignity and support. Full training is provided to ensure veterinarians feel confident within the practice’s care model. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking for a more emotionally rewarding and client-centered style of practice.

Practice Details
This mobile veterinary practice focuses exclusively on in-home euthanasia and hospice care for companion animals. The practice serves Baltimore, Frederick, Washington D.C., and surrounding communities through a compassionate and personalized care approach. The team prioritizes emotional wellbeing, personal fulfillment, and supportive collaboration within a client-centered environment. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 6 pm.

Team
The practice currently has 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is supportive, compassionate, and focused on emotional wellbeing for both clients and team members.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
