Working Hours / Rota
The rota is designed to be flexible and sustainable, supporting both primary and urgent care services. Scheduling is built collaboratively, allowing the Lead Veterinarian to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical work while ensuring continuity of care as the hospital continues to expand.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you will act as the clinical standard bearer for the hospital, guiding medical quality, supporting associate development, and fostering a culture of thoughtful, evidence-based care. You will remain clinically active, managing a mix of primary and urgent care cases while providing mentorship, clinical oversight, and support. The role includes contributing to protocol development, maintaining consistent standards of care, and building strong client relationships through clear communication.

Practice Details
The hospital provides primary and urgent care services for dogs and cats, operating within a modern clinical environment designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality medicine. Clinical standards are veterinarian-developed, prioritising sound medical judgement, patient outcomes, and consistency of care. Team
You will lead a developing clinical team currently consisting of one veterinarian, with the opportunity to build, mentor, and shape the future veterinary team as the hospital grows. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
