Job Description

Introduction
An established small animal hospital in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety and values strong support, whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced doctor with a niche interest. While the hospital currently focuses on canine and feline medicine, they are open to expanding services depending on the incoming doctor’s expertise.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on weekends. Scheduling is flexible and tailored to meet the needs of both the doctor and the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The incoming veterinarian will handle a wide range of general practice services including wellness care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Doctors with interests in advanced areas such as reproduction, alternative therapies, or species beyond cats and dogs are encouraged to apply. The practice supports autonomy in case management alongside accessible mentorship and collaboration.

Facilities and Services
This is a well-equipped practice featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, Abaxis in-house lab equipment, Bovie surgical laser, heated surgical table, reproduction instruments, and AviMark EMR. The hospital is also set up for comfortable surgery and dental procedures, and is committed to staying current with evolving veterinary care tools and techniques.

Team
The hospital is led by a dedicated owner who actively supports mentorship and professional growth. Each doctor is supported by at least two experienced technicians at all times, ensuring smooth clinical days. The broader team is collaborative, efficient, and shares a passion for providing excellent client and patient care.
