Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for Dogs, Cats, Pocket Pets, Rabbits, and a wide range of ZooMed species including birds, reptiles, chickens, ferrets, guinea pigs, gerbils, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and more that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is seeking a full-time veterinarian but is also open to part-time candidates, offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative and well-supported environment with exposure to both small animal and exotic pet medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical consultations, surgery, and dentistry across a varied patient base. Veterinarians will work either 8- or 10-hour shifts with rotating weekend responsibilities as part of the schedule. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available to support continued clinical development, confidence building, and long-term professional growth.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited hospital offering a full scope of GP services within a collaborative and well-equipped clinical environment. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to cold laser therapy equipment, ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and Tonopen equipment, supporting comprehensive patient care and efficient workflow. Facilities include Hands-Free Radiology, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy. The practice is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible and also offers nutritional counseling services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The hospital consists of 3 DVMs supported by a high technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring excellent support for doctors and optimal patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
