Job Description
Introduction
A growing small animal hospital in Paradise Valley, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its expanding clinical team. The hospital is part of a network of locally owned veterinary practices that place strong emphasis on clinical autonomy and veterinarian led decision making. This role offers the opportunity to practice high quality medicine while contributing to the continued growth of a modern community focused hospital.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital welcomes patients Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and remains closed on Sundays. Veterinarians benefit from flexible scheduling arrangements designed to promote work life balance while ensuring reliable access to care for clients and their pets.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver a full range of small animal services including routine wellness care, medical consultations, diagnostics, dentistry and surgical procedures. Doctors are responsible for managing cases from initial examination through treatment planning and follow up care while maintaining strong communication with clients. The position also involves collaborating closely with fellow veterinarians and the wider support team to uphold high clinical standards across the hospital.
Practice Details
The hospital operates as a modern companion animal practice focused on delivering consistent, high quality veterinary care. Clinical standards are developed by veterinarians, allowing doctors the freedom to practice medicine based on professional judgement while benefiting from mentorship, ongoing education and collaborative support from experienced colleagues across the network.
Team
The hospital is currently staffed by two veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who work together to provide attentive and compassionate patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
