Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs in a busy, well-established general practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care including wellness exams, preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Daily duties include performing full physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing tailored treatment plans, and carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and mass removals. The role also involves interpreting diagnostic results, maintaining detailed medical records, and building strong client relationships through clear communication. Veterinarians will collaborate closely with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a high standard of patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The practice is a modern, purpose-built facility equipped with digital radiography and dental radiography, a full in-house IDEXX laboratory, ultrasound, and advanced surgical capabilities. Facilities include separate cat and dog wards, a comfort room, and spacious treatment areas. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, screening tests, microchipping, senior pet care, in-house diagnostics, imaging with digital radiology and ultrasound, and supportive end-of-life care. The hospital is a high-volume general practice with a strong reputation and emphasizes a collaborative, supportive environment with a focus on professional development, autonomy, and continued learning.

The hospital has 6 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including certified technicians and experienced assistants, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
