Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital that has been a part of the community for over 15 years, currently seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides care for a wide range of species including avians, cats, dogs, exotic pets, pocket pets, and rabbits.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a full scope of general practice duties, providing comprehensive care across wellness, internal medicine, and routine procedures. The role offers a schedule of four days per week with rotating Saturdays, with specific hours to be discussed. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm. It is equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory, and dental x-ray, though the equipment is not limited to these. The facility includes a state-of-the-art surgical facility, isolation ward, intensive care unit, in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include a full scope of general practice care, advanced dental care, orthopedics, and oxygen and transfusion therapy. The hospital is committed to using fear-free techniques when possible.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a great group of highly trained and well-tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
